PCA Logo

Two hands, one anglo and one a person of color, reach upward expressing every inmate's deepest longing: REMEMBER ME! The hands reach toward prison bars that become crosses - a transformation that happens for the members of a prison congregation. Faith, hope and compassion can be found here.

The gothic-style shape of the logo represents the traditional church on the "outside". An integral part of a prison congregation is the partnering with many "sister congregations" who join in doing ministry with the inmate church. A prison congregation is mutually beneficial for inmates and outmates.

This artwork is a collaboration of two inmate artists who support Prison Congregations of America.
