Prison Congregations of America Hosts Deferred Giving Workshops

Deferred giving is a means by which you can continue to support PCA, even after you are gone.  It is surprisingly simple to establish a deferred giving plan that works for you and your family, and can be done regardless of the size of one’s estate.

In 2008, Prison Congregations of America  was awarded a Charitable Gifting Initiative Grant by Thrivent Financial for Lutherans to host a series of Deferred Giving Workshops. The events include a light supper and a discussion of different options for deferred giving by a representative of Lutheran Planned Giving.  Participants learn about tools that families can use to simplify the passage of one’s estate from one generation to another.

Why such a workshop now in these fragile economic times?  As the economy recovers, it is more important than ever that we learn about the benefits of deferred giving.  In addition to the formal presentations, there is also an opportunity for a personal confidential consult at no cost to you.
